According to the API 5B Specification 16th Edition, thread addendum is now a required check. Thread addendum (a.k.a. shave) gauges are also available from Gagemaker. When ordering, please indicate the thread type. Addendum gauges must be calibrated to a specific standard. Standard is available for purchase individually.
